Modeled after European regional wines, Carmichael's portfolio consists solely of unique proprietary blends from Monterey County. Our winemaker’s namesake brand: Michael Leven blends, wife Carmen imbibes. Just like the name combination, Carmichael Vintners wines are varietal combinations, medium-bodied offering balance and a delicate feminine structure.
Carmichael Vintners currently produces three proprietary blends:
Grapes for Carmichael's proprietary blends are selected from several vineyards in the central Salinas Valley. From the cool Arroyo Seco riverbed between Soledad and Greenfield come our Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. Tucked into the hillside out of the wind and fog, the Sangiovese is grown in a warmer, southern district of San Lucas as well as in the Arroyo Seco Canyon. From the mountains northwest of King City and the Arroyo Seco Canyon comes our Syrah.
