2002 Yosemite View Merlot Wins Silver Medal
at 2006 Central California Wine Competition
Yosemite View's robust and full-flavored 2002 Merlot continues to receive praise winning its third wine competition medal. Blending grapes from Sierra Foothills vineyards set at 3,000' elevation, winemaker Mike Leven has crafted an excellent Merlot worthy of the acclaim. Classic earthy tones with a touch of mint and herb make this an ideal wine pairing for hearty meals. The 2002 Merlot also won a bronze medal at the 2006 El Dorado County Fair and a bronze medal at the 2006 Calaveras County Fair.
